On April 13, 2018, within the framework of a scientific research study on the research plan of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2018, a round table was held at the Aktobe law institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev on “Measures for the rehabilitation of underage citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan participating in terrorist acts abroad, as well as carrying out activities to protect the children of the population from destructive influence within the country. ” The event was organized by the Department of Administrative Law and Administrative Activity of the IAD of the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after  M. Bukenbaev.

Participants of the round table were listeners of advanced training courses – district police inspectors of the LPS of the Ministry of Railways of the Interior who arrived in the Institute from various regions of Kazakhstan to upgrade their qualifications.

Moderator – senior lecturer of the Aland AA Department of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel Izbasov M.O.  invited guests to the round table – the senior assistant to the prosecutor of Aktobe  region, the younger adviser of justice Nurimov A.B, the senior inspector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Aktobe, the senior lieutenant of police Zholdybaev N.A. and the theologian of the public association “Consultative and Rehabilitation Center” Ansar “, Aktobe Suleimenova Zh.O.

Ex duties. Chief of the Department of the ALandAA of BIA, Major Police N. Balimov. brought to the participants the goal of the round table, which consisted in studying and examining the actual theoretical problems of protecting the children’s population from destructive influence within the country.

The emotional and informative mood of the discussion was set by a social video, in which the consequences that could occur to the younger generation and human civilization as a whole were touchingly and piercingly shown, if we do not take measures to protect the children’s population from destructive influence.

Deputy Chief of the Institute for Academic Affairs Colonel Dauletiarov D.A noted that “network culture, social networks have become a very influential and powerful reality of our life. Today I would like to not just discuss what positive or negative influence they have, but most importantly, draw certain conclusions about how we in our regional and city community will respond to these serious demands and challenges of the time. ”

The participants of the round table were able to share the accumulated positive experience of protecting children from destructive influence within the country, as well as to establish real practical cooperation in solving common regional problems of crime prevention.

Communication at the round table was of a lively nature, which made it possible to quickly find common points of contact in discussing measures to protect children from destructive influence.

A significant place at the round table was devoted to discussing the religious literacy of the population, organizing and conducting various cultural and cognitive activities and promoting the values ​​of traditional religion in the mass media and the negative impact of destructive religious movements on minors, and the formation of tolerant self-awareness among the population.

At the end of the discussion, the Deputy Chief of the Institute for Academic Affairs, Colonel of Police, Dauletiyarov D.A supported the general opinion of round table participants on the advisability of applying measures to protect the children of the population from destructive influence and suggested that a number of solutions be developed that could later be guided in working with children and adolescents in order to prevent the destructive influence of social networks and modern online technologies on their fragile consciousness .

A lot of positive feedback was received from participants, teachers and students of the Institute about the round table. In this regard, it is planned to strengthen measures to conduct preventive and informational work in the mass media to protect minors from destructive influence.
