           On September 14, 2017, a lecture session was held for students of advanced training courses at the Faculty of Professional and Further Education in the discipline “Legal Preparation” on topic № 2 “International Commitments for the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms.” The lesson was conducted with the participation of the judge of the Court of Aktobe, Abdraeva A.N.

           The training session consisted of two parts. In the first part of the session, Lieutenant Colonel A.K Karimbaeva, the purpose of the lesson was revealed, the questions of the lecture, the purpose of attracting and presenting the guest, the main international instruments in the field of human rights and international mechanisms for the protection of human rights and freedoms were revealed. In the second half of the session, a practical worker, Judge A. Abdraeva. shared her knowledge and revealed the specifics of the work of the justice system of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the reform of the judicial system within the framework of the Nation Plan, the implementation of the norms of the new civil and criminal legislation, and also voiced questions related to the new system of selecting candidates for judges and increasing the requirements for the current judges, the activities of local courts for the administration of justice.

           Lecturer cited many examples from the judicial practice on the protection of subjective rights and legitimate interests of citizens and organizations, state and public interests, etc.

          The lecture was listened to by the audience with great interest. For  all questions  listeners received full answers to all questions posed.

          Summing up the lecture, Judge Abdraeva A.N, wishing success in her future work, noted: “Since the principle of compliance with the requirements for a position of a certain qualification remains unchanged in all cases, it is necessary for BIA officers to constantly improve their qualifications, which is carried out for the sake of consistent and the constant replenishment and renewal of professional knowledge, the acquisition of new skills and the use of best practices in the work. ”
