From 2 to 6 March current year, within the framework of the sports contest, the Aktobe regional state University named named after K. Zhubanov hosted a city volleyball tournament among students of higher educational institutions dedicated to the year of the volunteer. Along with the team of ARSU named after K. Zhubanov, Aktobe University named after S. Baishev and West Kazakhstan state medical University named after M. Ospanov took part in the game, Military Institute of Air defense forces named after T. Begeldinov, Kazakh international University and Aktobe law Institute of MIA of RK. named after M. Bukenbaev.

The results of the city tournament the first place was taken by the team of ARSU named after K. Zhubanov, second place went to the team of Aktobe law Institute of MIA of RK named after M.Bukenbaev, third place went to the team of Aktobe University named after S.Baishev. For preparing the team at a high level, the teacher of the Department of physical training and the Department of special tactics, senior police Lieutenant N.A. Talasbayev, was awarded a diploma.
