About participation in the roundtable «Language-support of the people»

Today, no one needs to be convinced that the native language is both a culture and a way of thinking, and their diversity is a great asset of mankind, its most significant heritage.

So, on September 26, 2019 within the week of languages on the basis of Aktobe law Institute of the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev was held a roundtable on the theme: «Language is support of people» which was made by the Department of General education disciplines.

The form of the event was not chosen by chance. The discussion within the framework of the roundtable allowed to exchange views, clarify each other’s positions, discuss the designated topic within the framework of civilized communication.

This event was attended by: the teaching staff of the Institute, associate Professor of Aktobe regional state University named after K. Zhubanov, candidate of philological Sciences N. A.Saduakas, Deputy Chairman of the organization of the international society of Kazakh language in the Aktobe region, honored journalist of Kazakhstan, excellence in information of RK — Zh. Zh.Kabakbaev, Head of Department of state language and information of ALI MIA of RK named after M. Bukenbaev — Zh. B. Nurmuhambetova, associate Professor of Aktobe University named after S. Bayshev, candidate of philological Sciences M. K. Amangazieva.

During the «Roundtable» the work was based on the principles of activity, partnership communication; concentration of presence; feedback; method of work – the method of group discussion.

The discussion resulted in conclusions and recommendations that contribute to the preservation of the language:

1. The presence of writing and literary tradition

2. Language learning in schools, at least as an optional subject, the availability of language courses.

3. Motivation of native speakers.

In such a situation, in our opinion, only a properly planned and actively implemented language policy will today increase the effectiveness of the efforts of language communities aimed at the full maintenance or revival of their native languages for transmission to future generations.
