On October 21, 2019 according to the curriculum, as well as within the framework of the implementation of the third direction of the Roadmap for the modernization of IAB for the period 2019-2020, namely its third direction, dedicated to practice-oriented training, teachers of the Department of criminal procedure and criminalistics, police Lieutenant Colonel E. A. Tserkovnova and police Major Z. A. Mukhangalieva held a practical lesson on the discipline «Tactical and special training» on the topic: «Pre-medical care in emergency childbirth». The lesson was held with the participation of obstetrician-gynaecologist of the Central district hospital of Alga — Mukhangalieva Gulsum Orynbasarovna, who explained to the audience in an accessible form the algorithm of first aid in emergency out-of-hospital births, as well as told about urgent measures in relation to the newborn and the maternity hospital.

Expediency of carrying out such kind of occupations is justified by the recent tendency of growth of cases of emergency deliveries in various public places and on transport where often, the police officer appears the only one who is capable and on duty is obliged to help the woman in labor before arrival of crew «ambulance». Practical training, conducted in conjunction with medical professionals, contribute to the acquisition of future police officers not only the necessary theoretical knowledge, but also the development of practical skills and abilities, as well as psychological readiness to act in such situations.
