16, 2019 according to the plan of the department in the framework of the discipline “Criminal Procedure Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan” by the senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminology, police Major A.S. Taishybaeva on the topic “Investigative actions in the production of pre-trial investigation” for cadets of 2 B course 202 training platoon was held an open lecture lesson. The second open lesson on this topic was held in the state language on September 17, 2019 by the Deputy Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics, police Colonel B.S. Esmaganbetov for cadets of 3 courses 301-303 training platoons. Two theoretical questions were considered on this topic:
1. The concept and significance of investigative actions.
2. Methodology of investigative actions.
In the preamble part, lecturer introduced the topic of the lesson and its plan, as well as told the cadets about the importance of investigative actions in the production of pre-trial investigation.
In the main part, presentation materials related to the concept of investigative actions and significance in the investigation of criminal cases, types of investigative actions and methods of their implementation were demonstrated. The slide show in alternation with the showing of videos contributed to the productive work of cadets. Cadets watched with interest what was happening, gladly answered questions and actively participated in the demonstration. The lecturers voiced moments concerning the short stories of the criminal procedure legislation, namely investigative actions.
In preparing the lesson, methodological development and methodological recommendations for conducting open lecture classes were used.
The lecture classes received positive feedback from the faculty present. The purpose of the lesson was achieved.
