April 11, 2019 senior lecturer of the Department of general education, police Major A. Zh. Zharashan in the framework of the contest «The Best teacher of the year» was held a seminar with students of 1A course of 103 training group on the subject «Politology» on the theme «Elections and the electoral system».

The open Seminary session was attended by the scientific Secretary of the Academic Council, teachers-methodologists of the Educational and methodical center and the Department of monitoring and quality control of education, who watched the course of the seminar and the methodology of presentation of the topic.

Two issues were covered during the seminar:

1. Election procedure and election campaign.

2. Features of the electoral system of Kazakhstan.

The open class was held in the form of a game, in the first round the cadets were divided into two groups, then answered the blitz survey, situational tasks, cards and test questions. A second round was devoted to the election of «Youth оmbudsman», was the showing of the videos prepared by the cadets in the candidates of the ombudsman, further elections were held. In conclusion, the youth ombudsman was elected cadet of 1A course 103 training group Mailybaev Shalatay.
