On March 15, 2018, the Aktobe  Juridical Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev, together with the Omsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, held an international conference on the topic “Police involvement in the implementation of anti-alcohol policy measures”. The initiator of the Omsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

A welcoming speech from the Omsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia was made by the Deputy Chief of the Scientific Work, Doctor of Law, Professor, Colonel of Police M.V. Bavsun, and from Aktobe  Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbayev, deputy head of scientific work, candidate of law, lieutenant colonel of police G.Zh. Suleymanova.

In this event with  reports were made by the Omsk Academy of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia, Head of the Research Department, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, Colonel of Police O.A. Dizer “The main directions of the state anti-alcohol policy of the Russian Federation”; Lecturer of the Department of Administrative Law and Administrative Activity of IAB  units, Major of Police M.Yu. Vodianaya “Separate issues of implementation of proceedings on cases of administrative violations related to violation of anti-alcohol legislation”; From the Aktobe law institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs RK named after M. Bukenbaev, reports were made by the head of the criminal law and criminology department, police colonel A.Zh.Seytenov “Hooliganism in alcoholic intoxication and its criminal consequences”; Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Process and Criminalistics, Lieutenant Colonel S.G. Nazarbayev “Prevention of alcoholism”;

Participants exchanged views ,. discussed actual problems and situations, showed sincere interest in the topic, and heatedly discussed the issues.

At the end of the event, the results of the seminar were summed up and suggestions were made on the further implementation of such events.
