As a part of the festivities of the 150th anniversary of Aktobe city and 30th anniversary of the withdrawal of a limited contingent of Soviet troops from the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan on February 25, 2019 the staff of the Department of military and physical training together with Department of the organization of scientific research and editing and publishing operations held a ceremony of floral tribute to the obelisk of Glory «Eternal flame» and the monument obelisk to peacekeeping soldiers.

The following event was organized within the framework of international roundtable discussion «Military training and patriotic upbringing» dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the withdrawal of a limited contingent of Soviet troops from the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan and international research-to-practice conference «Criminalists of the DIA on service of justice», dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the operational and forensic service of the DIA and the 150th anniversary of Aktobe city.

Arrived guests and participants of the conference from the hero city Volgograd, namely from the Volgograd Academy of the MIA of Russia, Ural law Institute of the MIA of Russia, Barnaul law Institute of the MIA of Russia, Orenburg state University laid floral tribute to the obelisk of Glory and obelisk monument to peacekeeping soldiers.

The orchestra of Air Defense Forces Military Institute named after twice Hero of the Soviet Union T. Begeldinov was invited for the formal holding of this event.

The ceremony dedicated to the floral tribute was opened by the performance of the national anthems of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation. The memory of the fallen was honored with a minute of silence.

After the ceremony of floral tribute, a memorable word was given to the head of Aktobe law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev, police Colonel Aidar Mutalikovich Saitbekov and guest — the head of educational-scientific and forensic activities of the Volgograd Academy of the MIA of the Russian Federation, PhD in Law, associate Professor, police Colonel Koshmanov Petr Mikhailovich.

We must honor and remember the exploits of our ancestors, must respect the participants of the great Patriotic war, peacekeeping soldiers internationalists and appreciate such self-sacrifice. And we say «Thank you» to those who fought in the cities heroes who fought in the rear and on the front.

This event ended with the laying of flowers at the monument obelisk to peacekeeping soldiers.
