In the framework of realization the programme of Road map of the IAB modernization of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2019-2021, on training of police officer of a new format, the second time in the walls of Aktobe law Institute of the MIA of RK, namely on June 18, 2019 PD SWAT of Aktobe region held a practice-oriented classes for listeners of courses of special initial training. A master class on releasing hostages, the neutralization and detention of armed terrorists was demonstrated.
According to the legend of the exercise a group of terrorists commit an act of building and entered into a confrontation with the guards. Unable to leave, the terrorists took hostage visitors to the building. Together with the hostages, they took refuge in one of the premises and put forward demands of a political nature. During the exercises, the participants were demonstrated, worked out and explained orally the algorithms of units ‘ actions to block the territory, equip observation points, conduct intelligence activities, conduct negotiations with terrorists, as well as the implementation of tactical maneuvers using innovative methods and methods of warfare in real conditions.
During such exercises, which are regularly organized by the Institute, students practice tactics during combat operations for the release of hostages, as well as the neutralization and detention of armed terrorists. Since the police of the new format should be ready to help people who find themselves in an emergency situation, be able to use special technical means, make decisions according to a clear algorithm of action, provide first aid, be psychologically stable and perform their duty as quickly and effectively as possible, without stopping before the dangers.
In the end we want to say words of gratitude to the staff of the PD SWAT of Aktobe region and our little hostages, which were the students of the police cadet class «Zhas Sakshi».
