February 13 in the Aktobe Juridical Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev, in order to implement the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan dated January 10, 2018, “New Development Opportunities in the Conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution” and military-patriotic education of cadets and listeners was held a round table “In our memory”, dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. The round table was organized and conducted by the Department of Military and Physical Training together with the Department of Educational Work and the Department of Scientific Research and Editorial and Publishing Work. The founder and chairman of the Combat Brotherhood Foundation, a veteran of the Afghan war and a participant in local wars Gumer Abdulvalievich Galeev, a veteran of the Afghan war and a participant in local wars Sagidulla Mukanov, the chief specialist of the youth department of the Internal Policy Department of the Aktobe region Nursultan Yeleuov, management of the institute and personnel..
The event was opened by the Head of the Institute, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Police Colonel Karakushev Salimgerei Imangaliyevich, he noted the purpose and importance of this meeting.
The head of state N.A.Nazarbayev said “a lot was invested and given in the Afghan war, thousands of dead, but all the same the Soviet troops were forced to leave this land. Is there anything more sad for the people? “. From the side of tactics, purpose, orientation, the Afghan war was special. In a foreign land, a foreign country, not knowing who is the enemy, carrying out the political mission of the Motherland, duty to the homeland, our soldiers shed blood. 22 thousand of our compatriots took part in the war that lasted for 10 years. Of these, 1,000 were killed, 1,000 returned with disabilities, about 20 are reported missing.
Seeing the horror of this war with themselves, the soldiers-internationalists shared their memories, paid special attention to the work of police officers, their hard work, the daily kind of war on crime.
During the roundtable, the memory of the dead heroes was honored with a minute of silence. A film was shown about the difficult years of war on the Afghan land, shot by the participants in the battles. Cadets and listeners took an active part, asked questions, shared their opinions, listened with great interest to the stories of veterans of the war about international heroic and patriotic duty.
Also within the framework of the round table, the staff of the Department of Military and Physical Training held a competition among cadets for incomplete disassembly and assembly of the Kalashnikov assault rifle. The winners were awarded with the diploma, namely the 1st course student, the rank-and-file police Abdrakhmanov B., the 2nd place – the cadet of the 1B course, the rank-and-file police Kakhar B., the third place – the cadet 1A course, the rank-and-file police Kadyrov A.
Summing up the results of the round table, the Deputy Chief of the Institute for Scientific Work, Lieutenant Colonel G.Z. Suleymanova noted the heroism of the Kazakhstan youth, who fulfilled the duty to the fatherland, called upon cadets and listeners to appreciate, remember and honor their heroism.
Soldiers-internationalists wished cadets and students of the institute great success, to be worthy of the chosen profession, to observe the rule of law, faithfully and sacredly serve Kazakhstan, our people.
On behalf of the leadership of the Institute and all the personnel to the veterans of the Afghan war, G.A. Galeev. and Mukanov S.I, as well as the representative of the Office of Internal Policy of the region, N.Eleuova, received letters of appreciation.
The issues of patriotic education of cadets and listeners are under special control of the institute’s leadership and in this direction a huge work is carried out on an ongoing basis.
