November 20, 2017, the Department of General Education of the Aktobe Juridical  Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev organized a seminar “Issues of the application of psychological knowledge by IAD officers” with students of advanced training courses.

         The purpose of the seminar was to deepen and broaden the knowledge of students about the psychological technology of profiling, the development of special skills and skills of profiling in the performance of IAD employees.

In the first part of the seminar, participants discussed the psychological aspects of organizing the fight against terrorism and extremism, the history of the emergence of psychological profiling technology, its main goals and objectives, objects and subjects, stages and methods of implementation.

Then the students were offered a training aimed at developing memory, observation and attentiveness – professionally important psychological qualities that allow the effective use of psychological profiling technology in the daily work of IAD officers.

         At the end of the seminar, the listeners were given recommendations on the development of professional memory, observation and attentiveness.
