About carrying out lectures with involvement of practical workers for listeners of career development courses

September 27, 2019 for officers of operational units of the PTA, trained in training courses on “Countering criminal activity in transport” in Aktobe law Institute of the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev, the chief of linear police Department on Aktobe station, police Colonel S.Zh. Sarsenov together with the Head of LPD on Aktobe station, police Major D.N. Taskenov held lectures “Prevention and disclosure of thefts of personal property of citizens and goods from mobile trains and railway transport facilities” and “Organization and tactics of detection, prevention and suppression of criminal offenses related to illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances”, held in the framework of the Roadmap for the modernization of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2019-2021 years.

During the lecture S.Zh. Sarsenov highlighted the topical issues of organization of activity of LPD to ensure public order and security of goods and personal property of citizens on objects of railway and air transport.

According to police Colonel S.Zh. Sarsenov opinion the most common criminal committed on railway transport, there are thefts and crimes connected with illicit trafficking in drugs or psychotropic substances. In his opinion, this is due to the considerable length of railway routes, round-the-clock operation of railway transport, the large number of technological operations for the processing of transported goods, the concentration on the objects of railway transport of a large number of inventory items.

During the lecture the Head of LPD on Aktobe station, D.N. Taskenov more in detail stopped on questions of methodology of the investigation of theft of goods from rolling stock, emphasized the procedural aspects of securing evidence, investigative actions and examinations.

The lecture was informative, examples from practice were given. Trainees of advanced training courses showed interest, actively participated in the conversation, asked questions, shared their vision. In the final part of the lecture, the Colonel of police S. Sarsenov summed up, made recommendations and suggestions.

Sarsenov pointed out that the conduct of such practice-oriented lectures and study of the positive experience of LPD, bring undeniable benefits in improving the skills of operational staff and cadets of the Institute, and also contributes to their continuous professional improvement.
