From September 10 to 14, 2018, on the basis of, Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M.Bukenbaev, for the students of the advanced training courses, namely the staff of the EGI on transport, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in conjunction with the Office of OSCE Programs in Astana, organized and conducted a training seminar on theme: “Organization of risk profiling at transport facilities in order to combat transnational crime” with the participation of experts and organizers:

1. Igor Vladimirovich Kondratev, PhD in Law retired Police Colonel, professor of pre-trial investigation of crime of the Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after B. Beisenov.
2. Shakimova Lola Sergeevna, an expert psychologist of the Association of Psychologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. Asafov Mikhail Viktorovich, Senior Project Assistant of Politico-Military Department of OSCE Office Department in Astana.
4. Rahmetov Talgat Abdrashevich,Police Lieutenant Colonel, Head of the Administrative Office Department of the Department of Internal Affairs in transport.

The following topics were discussed at the seminar:

1. History of the formation of profiling in foreign countries. Methodological and legal definition of profiling in the integrity of the security system of a particular facility.
2. Systems for analysis of risk profiles, the basis for quantitative assessment of risks, collection and processing of personal information in order to identify drug traffickers in passenger traffic. Methods and techniques for conducting a survey of passengers in railroad transport.
3. Classification and types of terrorism. Methods for assessing the external characteristics of people who are predisposed to terrorist acts.
4. Establishment of psychological contact with the interlocutor. Innovative communicative technologies. Conflict resolution.

         At the end of the training, all participants received certificates.
