According to the plan of cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Regional representation of the ICRC in the period from 8 to 12 April 2019 on the basis of the center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Almaty held a five-day training on first aid to victims for officers and lecturers of universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, which was attended by a lecturer of the Department of criminal procedure and criminology of Aktobe law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev, police Major Minaidarov Sagintay Mukhitovich.

The purpose of this course is to train law enforcement officers in the knowledge and application of skills to provide emergency first aid to the victim, including first aid skills in combat wounds, injuries, fractures, hypothermia, overheating, etc. with the use of a combat medic bag. 

The following materials were provided for the training sessions from the training side:

1. Combat medic’s bags.

2. Dressing box

3. Buses.

4. Tourniquet.

5. Droppers.

6. Mannequins for cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

7. Set of dummies (set of «Simulators injuries and defeats»).

8. Hard tyres for the back.

9. Stretcher.

On the first day of classes was held familiarity and discussion about the use of the necessary materials, as well as testing for knowledge of the skills of first aid to the victim, the structure of the human body.

In the following days conducted classes on the following topics: «Chest Injuries, abdominal wall and organs of abdominal cavity», «Regulation of a state of shock, fractures and applying tire», «Traumatic brain injury, triage and transportation of patients», «Spinal cord injuries, bleeding from wounds of the limbs, severed limbs».

At the end of the course was tested on the topics covered, and then awarded with certificates.
