          01-02 September 2017 in Aktobe the Aktobe region championship was held among juniors, boys and girls, men and women, veterans of powerlifting. This competition is the qualifying stage for participation in the championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will be held from 02-08 October 2017 in Kostanay.

         More than 60 sportsmen from different regions of Aktobe took part in the competition. The records of the region were broken. Also, the employee of the Aktobe Juridical  Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev took part in the competitions. The teacher of the Department of military and physical training was Senior Lieutenant of Police Kairbaev Zh.K., who took the 3rd place among men in the weight category up to 74 kg.

         Champions and prize-winners of the competition were awarded diplomas and medals. I would like to note the remarkable growth of this sport on the territory of our region, as well as the good achievements of the athletes from Aktobe and wish them further high achievements in sports.
