May 22, 2017 in the Aktobe Juridical  Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev held a debate on the topic “Factors of Language Development in Society”, timed to the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Languages ​​in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, which were organized by the Department of State Language And information.

The purpose of the event is to raise the status of the state language, to propagandize the policy of the Head of State on trilingualism, to develop the competition and culture of speech of cadets.

In the debate, two teams from among the cadets of the 1st course took part. The team “Tulpar” represented the “Government”, and the team “Baiterek” – “Opposition”.

The teams presented the main points of the use of languages ​​in our state, specified in the Constitution, laws, regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Participants in the debate made the main emphasis on the state language in the civil service and in the internal affairs bodies. At the same time, the process of introduction of trilingualism was vigorously discussed. The sides defended their positions, issues arising from the opposing team were denied. The debate took place in a very interesting atmosphere and the participants concluded that Kazakh legislation on languages ​​still requires careful consideration.
