June 6, 2017 on the basis of the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaeva held a training seminar with the staff of the Aktobe Regional Prosecutor’s Office, conducted by the faculty of the Institute.
In the work took part the Head of the DOREPW , Doctor (PhD) in Law Enforcement, Major of Police R.A. Mediev, head of the Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics Department, Colonel of Police A.G.Igolnikov, Deputy Head of the Criminal Law and Criminology Department, Colonel of Police A.S.Zhumabayev. The participants got acquainted with the capabilities of the complex for the development of an innovative computer program “Virtual inspection of the scene: Educational and methodical complex”, designed to create interactive three-dimensional models of various accident sites, as well as for virtual inspection of the scene.
A senior assistant to the regional prosecutor in charge of procedural prosecutors, justice adviser Fariz Ibrahimov attended the training seminar.
Participants of the seminar got acquainted with the program’s possibilities:
- Simulation mode of the scene (for the instructor (teacher);
- the training mode, during which the tactics of inspecting the scene of an incident, methods and methods for identifying, fixing, removing and packing the traces of a crime are assimilated, and skills are acquired for the proper execution of a protocol for the inspection of the scene.
Presented software allows you to model the following scenes: an apartment (one, two, three-roomed); Staircase in an apartment building; House territory (courtyard); Streets in the village; field; forest; Park area; Train Station; Garage cooperative; Apartment with traces of fire.
After familiarizing himself with the presented software, the representative of the Aktobe region Prosecutor’s Office, Justice Advisor Fariz Ibrahimov, expressed his opinion on the role of the program training and methodological complex: Virtual inspection of the scene of the incident in the process of training investigators, criminalists and the need for training procedural prosecutors. He also expressed his opinion that the use of innovative technologies will make innovation and increase the efficiency of the inspection of the scene of the various types of crimes.
