We are in 20 years later …

On May 2, 2017, in the 103 training group on the discipline “Psychology in the BIA”, an open class was held under the aegis: “We are in 20 years later…”. The theme of the seminar is “Psychological and pedagogical methods and techniques in the activity of BIA employees”.

The purpose of the seminar was to learn cadets knowledge of psychological and pedagogical methods and techniques in the work of BIA officers, taking into account the characteristics of different categories of citizens who are on the preventive accounting of BIA. The lesson was aimed at developing professionally important psychological and pedagogical qualities and cadets, striving for self-development and self-improvement, building respect for the chosen profession, a sense of duty and civil responsibility, fostering a sense of irreconcilable attitude to any manifestations of offenses, and developing the need to engage in law enforcement.

The lesson was held in the form of a press conference, where the cadets acted as leaders of law enforcement agencies. Each cadet was assigned a position and a corresponding title, thereby their answers to current questions about preventive activities among the population sounded according to their status. The following questions were touched upon, such as the main tasks of psychological and pedagogical diagnostics of persons who are on the preventive accounting of BIA; Methods of psychological and pedagogical diagnostics used by BIA officers; Persuasion and coercion as the main methods of psychological and pedagogical influence.

At the end of the lesson, cadets were encouraged to take part in the active participation.

This event caused cadets interest and even greater desire to learn the psychological characteristics of working with citizens, mastering of psychological and pedagogical methods and techniques in the work of BIA officers, which they will be used in future professional activities.
