October 15, 2019 in Aktobe law Institute of the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev was held a lesson by the senior inspector for special assignments of the CAP of the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, police Lieutenant Colonel B. M. Sugirbaeva on «Protection of the rights of minors in the field of IAB» for students of the career development courses of the faculty of professional and additional education (juvenile police officers).

In the course of this event, novelties of administrative and criminal legislation aimed at protecting the rights of children were considered; problems and ways of their solution arising from concealment or failure to report to law enforcement agencies about the facts of committing offenses among students; the issue of prevention of offenses, neglect and homelessness among minors.

In addition, B. M. Sugirbaeva brought to the audience the provisions of a number of state and sectoral Programs, Strategic and Interdepartmental plans that ensure the formation of the legal basis for the guarantees of children’s rights and the implementation of the state policy in the field of protection of children from information that harms their health and development.

The event was held in the form of a dialogue, during which the juvenile police officers shared their practical experience and made proposals on improving the activities of the IAB in the field of protection of the rights of minors.
