On March 19, 2018, at a meeting of the profile section No. 8, an interim report on the scientific and research topic was heard: “Problematic issues arising in the production of ballistic forensic studies and forensic examinations of gas weapons, gas weapons with the possibility of shooting with traumatic cartridges, and pneumatic weapons and ways to solve them “, Which conducts research by the Department of Criminal Process and Criminalistics of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev at the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was opened by the head of the operative-forensic department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the police colonel Mukhamedov A.Sh. with the interim report, the head of the scientific and search topic, the teacher of the Department of Criminal Process and Criminalistics of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev, the police major, Minaidarov S.M.

In the course of the meeting, members of the profile section received questions on further in-depth research into the research topic and ways to implement problematic issues that arise in practice in the manufacture of ballistic research on gas, traumatic and pneumatic weapons. Head of the Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics Department of the Institute, Colonel of Police Igolnikov A.G attending the meeting of the section, put forward a number of complex measures that must be carried out as soon as possible for a full and comprehensive study of the material and preparation of the final report.
