In the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev on October 26, 2017, the republican interuniversity olympiad in forensic science was held.
Since 2016, there has been a good tradition to hold an olympiad in forensic science and criminal process. In previous years, the brain-rings, inter-faculty, interuniversity republican Olympiad for knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan were held, where the “Detectives” team of the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev became the winner.
The Olympiad was held to increase interest in the history of criminalistics, the current state, the prospects for the development of criminalistics, the unification of representatives of the BIA investigation services and the faculty of the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev for further cooperation, raising the professional level of graduates, encouraging students and cadets .
In the olympiad took part 5 teams, consisting of five students and cadets each. This is the Sherlock Holmes team of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Yesbolatova; the command “On guard” of the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Sh. Kabylbaev; the “Detectives” team of the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev; the “De-Yure” team of the Kazakh-Russian International University; team “In gloves” Aktobe Regional State University named after K. Zhubanov.
The program of the Olympiad consisted of five competitions in which participants demonstrated their own:
– theoretical knowledge on the history of criminalistics from the moment of its foundation to the present stage;
– practical skills of inspecting the scene of the accident, forensic packaging of objects where participants needed to know and be able to pack various objects of the media of trace information that may occur in the practice of investigating crimes;
– knowledge in the classification of munitions and their parts, the ability to use measuring devices;
– theoretical knowledge for solving forensic crossword puzzles;
– skills in fingerprinting and identification of types of patterns by fingerprint;
– knowledge, skills and skills in the conduct of the search, procedural registration of the investigative action (drawing up a search protocol and preparing the scheme for the search protocol).
The “Business card”, the motto, the emblem of the participants was also evaluated.
The work of the teams was evaluated by a jury consisting of highly skilled practitioners and theoreticians in the field of criminalistics and criminal procedure, veterans of internal affairs bodies.
The doctor of medical sciences, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Health Worker, Professor Torebayev Orinbasar Naurizgalievich , who worked in forensic medicine for 50 years, was present at the event as a guest.
All participants of the Olympiad showed good knowledge and theoretical training, which they used in demonstrating practical competitions. The jury was to choose among the best students and cadets “two winners in the nomination” Krimtz 2017 “and” Krimtsessa 2017. “They were the student of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M.Esbolatov Akhmetov Maksat Asanuly and the student of the Kostanai Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Sh. Kabilbayev Zubesh Sambetova Zauresh Bakhitbayevna
The first place according to the results of the Olympiad was taken by the “Detectives” team of the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev.
The second place went to the Sherlock Holmes teams of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M.Esbolatov and the Guardian of the Kostanai Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Sh. Kabylbaev.
The third place was shared by the teams “De-Yure” of the Kazakh-Russian International University and “In gloves” of the Aktobe regional state university named after K. Zhubanov, who scored the same number of points.
At the end of the Olympiad, all participants were awarded with certificates, books on forensics, kits of criminalistics equipment and prizes from the Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics Department of the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev.
The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, an atmosphere of healthy competition and competition between the teams.
