In the period from 5 to 7 October 2019, on the basis\nof the Aktobe law Institute of the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic\nof Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev, a training seminar was held for officers\nof internal affairs bodies in the category of district police inspectors\nassigned to educational organizations on the theme: \u00abStrengthening access to\njustice in the field of gender violence \u2014 effective perception, capacity\nbuilding and mobilization of police forces when working on the facts of gender\nviolence\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar was conducted by Head of the Department of\nsocial work in Department of internal affairs of Kostanay Academy of MIA of the\nRepublic of Kazakhstan named after Sh.Kabylbaev, candidate of pedagogical\nSciences, Professor, police Colonel Tulkinbaev Nurlan Akkalashovich (Kazakhstan,\nKostanay), acting Deputy chief of Aktobe law Institute of the MIA of RK named\nafter M. Bukenbaev for academic affairs, police Major Balymov Erlan\nKuanyshevich and project assistant of UNDP Canatbaev Arhat (RK, Nur-Sultan).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fruitful work of all participants of the event\ncontributed to the development of a group agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special interest of participants was caused by the\nstory of the coach of inquiry with children victims of sexual violence, which\nheld a group session and discussed in detail work of Department of police on\nprevention and violence prevention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme of continuing work with the trainers was \u00abThe\nrole of public organizations in helping victims of sexual and domestic violence\u00bb,\nwhere the organizers presented the principles of cooperation between IAB and NPOs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of the work was carried out in groups, which\ncontributed to the development of the necessary recommendations for the most\neffective perception, capacity building and mobilization of police forces in\ndealing with gender-based violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the final part of the event, the participants of\nthe event filled out questionnaires designed to assess the knowledge gained,\nand were awarded certificates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
