October 29, 2019 on the basis\nof Aktobe law Institute of the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev was the first day of a series of training aimed\nat preparing police officers for the prevention of gender violence, taking into\naccount international experience. As part of this event, the Institute opened a\ncenter for training specialists in the prevention of domestic violence. The\ncentre will train police officers on measures to prevent domestic violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar was opened by the acting Deputy head of the\nInstitute of police Major Balymov Erlan Kuanyshevich, guests of the event were the Deputy resident\nRepresentative of UNDP of the Republic of Kazakhstan Vitaliy Vremish, Secretary of the National Commission for women affairs and family\ndemographic policy in Aktobe region Akmaral Khon, Manager of the UNDP project\nTulesbaeva Gulmira, and Head of the\nDepartment of social work the Department of internal affairs of Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of internal affairs, police Colonel\nNurlan Tolkinbayev.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme of combating violence and gender inequality is\nreflected in the Sustainable Development Goals developed by the United Nations\nand adopted by the Republic of Kazakhstan, along with other UN member\nStates.The UN development program will continue to cooperate with the Ministry\nof internal affairs of\nKazakhstan, including the large-scale reform of the Kazakh police, aimed at\nstrengthening the authority of the police and the trust of citizens in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
