According to the plan of cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs\nand the Regional representation of the ICRC in the period from 8 to 12 April\n2019 on the basis of the center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Almaty\nheld a five-day training on first aid to victims for officers and lecturers of\nuniversities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, which was\nattended by a lecturer of the Department of criminal procedure and criminology\nof Aktobe law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of\nKazakhstan named after M. Bukenbaev, police Major Minaidarov Sagintay\nMukhitovich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of this course is to train law enforcement officers in the\nknowledge and application of skills to provide emergency first aid to the\nvictim, including first aid skills in combat wounds, injuries, fractures,\nhypothermia, overheating, etc. with the use of a combat medic bag.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following materials were provided for the training sessions from the\ntraining side:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Combat\nmedic’s bags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Dressing box<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Buses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Tourniquet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Droppers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Mannequins\nfor cardiopulmonary resuscitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Set of\ndummies (set of \u00abSimulators injuries and defeats\u00bb).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Hard tyres\nfor the back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Stretcher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the first day of classes was held familiarity and discussion about\nthe use of the necessary materials, as well as testing for knowledge of the\nskills of first aid to the victim, the structure of the human body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the following days conducted classes on the following topics: \u00abChest\nInjuries, abdominal wall and organs of abdominal cavity\u00bb, \u00abRegulation of a\nstate of shock, fractures and applying tire\u00bb, \u00abTraumatic brain injury, triage\nand transportation of patients\u00bb, \u00abSpinal cord injuries, bleeding from wounds of\nthe limbs, severed limbs\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the course was tested on the topics covered, and then\nawarded with certificates.         <\/p>\n\n\n\n
